Dear Friends,

The Nandi Nagari is a variety of Nagari script.
About 1500 years ago, Nagari script was veolving from
Brahmi script. In different parts of India, there were varients
developing . Some of them proceeded and developed into
some of the modern scripts of North India like Bengali, Gurmukhi,
DevaNagari, etc. Others stopped short and remaind in their
old forms.
In South India, the people used a form of Nagari
to write Sanskrit.
