Ganesan,
Your kuRaL is aesthetically pleasing, there is a problem in the concept,
While you clearly imply that the constant motion and state of rest are
disturbed by the external force (which is a very self evident concept
even for a layman), what newton proposed is that a body will remain in
rest or in constant motion - unless acted upon by an external force.
The latter is, for a first timer difficult to comprehend. He knows
that a stone thrown upwards or a billiards ball will come to rest when
set in motion. The important concept here is that it is acted by an
external force, viz., friction. So pedagogically it is important to
convey that a body in motion continues to be in motion - or there is an
inertia built in every system to oppose the changes - including the
concepts of social science!!!
With that in mind, I wrote my kuRaL. Please follow the discussions
either here or peferably in the new thread in forumhub
http://forumhub.com/tlit/16737.20.08.55.html#last
Which is also expected to discuss what is the necessity to write poems
or pAs on scinece. I welcome you to participate there.
