Dear Agathiyam List Members,

It is good to see that Agathiyam list is very vibrant and active in discussing various subjects as outlined in the manifesto of this list.
However, there seems to be a need now to re-iterate some of the points of manifesto. Here are some guidelines :

1. Please avoid crosspostings in multiple lists; there are members in Agathiyar who are not members of other lists and vice versa. If someone has asked a question in another list, do not copy your reply to this list and vice versa. If however, an article is of interest which does not involve controversial discussions where there are absentee partees, such an article can be forwarded.

2. The aims of this list are clearly specified ; if you are not aware, please see the bottom of the mail .

3. Do not send mails attacking any particular caste. Castes and casteism can be discussed as a social issue on a sociological basis and not on the basis of political or personal hatred, motives, malevolent intentions, etc.

4. Do not send mails which are totally unrelated to Agathiyam manifesto.
Finally, if someone is repeatedly transgressing these guidelines, please be assured of unsubscription from the list.!!!
