கொங்கு நாட்டில் சிறுமி பூப்பு எய்து விழவிற்குத் திரட்டி/தெரட்டி என்று பெயருண்டு.
நான் அச்சொல் ஏதோ "திரட்டுதல்" என்னும் பொருளில் விழாவிற்கு மக்களைத்திரட்டுவது என்றெண்ணி
மாய்ந்ததுண்டு.
ஆனால் அண்மையில் கழகத் தமிழகராதியென்னும் போதைப் பொருளை நுகர்ந்துகோண்டிருக்கும்போது (:-))
தற்செயலாகத் (accidentally) தெருட்டு என்னும் சொல்லிற்குப் பூப்பெய்தல் என்னும் பொருள் கண்டு
வியந்தேன்.
அது "தெருள்" என்னும் வினைச்சொல்லின் தொழிற்பெயராகும்!

வலையகராதியாரும் அதைச் சாற்றி நம்மைத் தெருட்டுகிறார்!
