Dear Friends,

Here is one my favourite stories from Taoism.
For your rumination.

There was an old man who was rumored to have attained
enlightenment and so many a young aspiring monk went
to visit him. they would always ask how life had changed
since he had become enlightened to which he would reply.

"Before I became enlightened, every morning, I would rise
early to carry water from the well for tea, and each evening
I would chop wood for the fire that night."

"And now what do you do?" asked the visitors.

"Now, each morning, I draw water from the well for tea, and
every evening I chop wood for the fire."

Same life, only the outlook changes.

Regards

Jayabarathi
