<BR>It is scheduled to be held in Colombo.
<BR>I urge everyone not to attend it.
<BR>For two reasons:

<BR>1. Personal Safety: Not the cliche "...yeah, there is constant
<BR>violence...and you may get caught in it randomly..". 
<BR>No. I am talking conspiracy.
<BR>This is a congregation of the leading minds in teh Tamil world
<BR>who will advance Tamil technologically for the next millenium.
<BR>What beter opportunity for the Sinhala extremists to set back the
<BR>advancement of the enemy society than to blow these persons up?
<BR>This is not far fetched. Such assemlages are standard targets for
<BR>terrorism involving interethnic conflicts.

<BR>I do know a handful of those who would be planning to attend the
<BR>conference and feel sad to them travel to Colombo given the above
<BR>concern.

<BR>2.Politically acknowledging that there is nothing so seriously wrong
