அந்தப் படங்களை ஏதாவது வலைப்புலத்தில் ஏற்றிவைத்தால்
மடல்களைக் கீழிறக்கம் செய்யும்போதுசிக்கலில் மாட்டிக்கொண்டு,
பெறுநரின் சாபத்துக்கு இடமேற்படாமல்செய்யலாம்:-)
மதுரையில் "செல்லத்தம்மன் கோயில்"என்றொரு சிறு கோயில்
இருக்கிறது. அது கண்ணகியில் கோயில்என்று கூறுகிறார்கள்.
செட்டிநாட்டின் தென்பகுதியில் நாட்டரசன்கோட்டை என்னும் ஊர்
இருக்கிறது. அங்கு "கண்ணுடையநாச்சியம்மன்" அல்லது "கண்ணாத்தாள்'
என்ற தெய்வம் உண்டு.
இந்த கண்ணாத்தாளும் கண்ணகியே என்றுசொல்வார்கள்.
இந்த ஊரில்தான் கம்பனின் சமாதி இருப்பதாக நம்பப்படுகிறது.
காரைக்குடி கம்பன் விழாவுடன் இவ்வூரும்சம்பந்தப்பட்டது.
நாற்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் கரந்தைகல்லூஉரியில்
தமிழாசிரியராக விளங்கிய கோவிந்த ராசன் என்பார் செங்குட்டுவனால்
எடுப்பிக்கப்பட்ட கண்ணகியின் கோட்டத்தை மேற்குத்தொடர்ச்சிமலையில்
கண்டுபிடித்தார்.
