I remember reading a big large book on this vijayanagar
empire at a friend's home in Atlanta some years ago.
I forgot the book title and other info.
I think, perhaps one must visit the ruins to understand
the grandeur of this place, which was so evident from
those beautiful b/w photos in that book.
