Dear Suresh,
I have repeatedly asked you to write something
original about our ancient arts and sciences.
But you have not heeded to this advice.
In the MahaBharatha War, both the warring parties
used to rest together in peace in the evening.
When they fought, they fought ferociously, each
one with his own objective. They did their duties to
their kings.
That is Karma Yoga.
Doing a duty witout obsession.
But to rest awhile in peace amidst turmoil....
we need a place.
Let Agathiyam be a haven of peace and tranquility.
Even amidst the worst wars and calamities and
chaos, learning, teaching, recording, research, meditation,
collection, preservation, dialogues did go on.
It has to. Otherwise we would not be having whatever
riches that we now possess. The human race would have become
extinct.
If all those scholars took up the sword.....?
Life has to go on.
The area concerned is on the brink of calamity.
Possibilities of great danger and concern are manifesting
themselves.
Pray if you can.
As I have told you before, read, re-read the
Gita and understand it, in a truer context.
Your approach has shown two main flaws in your
words.
What am I indicating?
Find out and mail me.
Let us leave this matter at rest:-)
Regards
JayBee
