Dear all

How does one define a poem now-a-days ?
While I enjoy some puthuk kavithagaL, I really do not
understand the format. Some look more like dialogues,
some sound like daily conversations ......

As long as I find the meaning enjoyable, I do not mind
how the poets structure their poems.

But it makes me wonder, how exactly does a piece becomes
a puthuk kavithai ? another becomes more like a dialogue
cut here and there to appear like a poem ?

I hope Dr. Kannan will not misunderstand me here. I did
enjoy his poem but could not stop asking these questions
on a more broader frameset.

Thanks
LSK
