Dear Friends,
Hari Krishnan was mentioning about time
measurement.
Here is an interesting site.
You can view our part of the universe and then
zoom in on our own Milky Way Galaxy and the zoom in on
and on to the powers of ten until you focus on an oak
tree and then go inside the oak leaf and zoom inwards
to atomic level and subatomic and finally end up on the
surface of a proton at 10 to the power of minus 15 - metres.
You can also reverse the process and zoom out from
10 to the power of minus 15 outwards until you reach a
distance of 10 to the power of plus 23 - metres which is
10 million light years and view the universe from there.
This brings to mind the famous words of
MANikka VAsagar - Thiru aNdap pagudhi.
