Dear List,
Dr. Tieken has written a book recently
detailing how the Sangam poems are
only about 1000 years old. Ie.,
CT poems were composed around 9-10th
centuries only, and in an urban
environment, presumably in the Pandyan court.
Prof. Hart commented on why Dr. Tieken's
theory is not valid:
