A question in my mind for a long time:
Are there any Devanagari (eg., Hindi) fonts like
the Tamil TSCII or TAB fonts?
When searched with the word, hindi
in groups.yahoo.com, some 275 entries show up
but I could see none exchanging emails
with something like Tamil's TSCII (or TAB) fonts.
If there is no equivalent Hindi bilingual font,
is it because the number of letters, and esp.
consonant-cluster letters are too many to
be accommodated within the 255 spaces allowed
for a TSCII-like font?

PS:
In the URL provided by Muguntharaj,
I see many spaces occupied by the "Consonant + u/U"
letters in Tamil. Only these letters, called
"ukara uukaara uyirmey" in tamil, pose problems.
Tamil will be better served if eventually Tamils
reform "ukara uukaara uyirmey" letters.
