Dear Sri. Suresh,

I'm sorry if I offended you. Haven't read all your
messages. Since I've some close Madhva friends
from CBE, & once in a message (i wrote or answered, forget which)
you mentioned thale-k-kAD & stalapurANam of that place,
just asked.

In Dharapuram too (Kolinjivadi) there are Kannada brahmins.
Dewan Purnaiah, who was with Mysore Wodeyars, was
from Kolinjivadi. Of course, the famous comedian
Nagesh is from Dharapuram too.

To top it all, Periar was a Kannadiga as well.
The one who started Perur Tamil college
was a Kannadiga as well, Kovaikizaar C. M. Ramachandran,
he started the study and recording of folklore in tamil.

anbuDan,
N. Ganesan
