Wonderful narrative with the right mix of mystery,
nostalgia, history and suspense - I remembered the
passages in Dicken's novels - especially the sad short
stories appearing inside the humorous narrative,
'Pickwick Papers'.

The scanned pages and the accompanying narratives are
equally marvellous.
