Anpulla Erumbugale,

If we ant-bite together and organise the Tamildom/other Tamil sites to
interconnect with that of Doubleclick (an online ad agency), we can have
Doubleclick referral URLs on our and other Tamil email lists.
Ad agency gets some (for selling ads), Newsletter/Email group
publisher/producer gets some (for pooling and sustaining readers),
Destination site gets attention (sales prospects) and sales.
And Tamil gets some because it creates Tamil jobs like Tamil advertising
sales, Tamil e-publishers, Tamil website producers, Tamil researchers and
Tamil writers. And of course, that means there is jobs for the Tamil
auto-drivers and waiters and cooks. Where are the auto-drivers etc going to
have work if there were not Tamils higher-up with jobs to use them to move
around to do their jobs?
And what happens if we don't do above? We have to leave and work for
Englishdom that does it. And what happens then? We slowly become English.
So anybody thinking that providing Tamil services must be done for free
(unless it is for attention/loss leader reasons), please think again.
In short, Tamils need to cooperate (think win-win) like ants do, like the
Western world does.

> Application service providers are best known for handling hulking
enterprise applications such as PeopleSoft's human resources packages or
Oracle's financials. However, a less-prominent part of the ASP portfolio -
e-commerce software - may deserve increased attention by network executives.
