I'm not sure if Dr. Rm. K.'s rendering of goal
in tamil script as kaval, kavaDu, kavaTTai has
the meanings of "goal".
kaval/kavaDu/kavaTTai has the primary meaning, "fork"
and does not suit the meanings of goal in soccer:
