I totally agree with you.
Our "Nature" (in quotes because we have not evolved enough to perceive
synthesised Nature) or "God", is that which is that.
No name or form (nama-roopa). But Manithan with his very limited mental
capability cannot conceive a God without a name or form. So Hindu scriptures
call and form "God" with thousands of names (sahasranama) and forms.
