அன்புக்குரிய ஐயா,
இதற்கு முந்தைய மடல் அனுப்பி நாள் பல ஆகிவிட்டது. இப்பொதுதான்
வந்திருக்கிறது. ஏனென்று தெரியவில்லை.
இந்தக் குறளில் காரிகை என்பது பெண்ணையோ, முக்கியமாக மீனாக்ஷியையோ
குறிக்கவில்லை.
காரிகை என்பதை அலங்காரம், அணி என்ற பொருள்களில் திருவள்ளுவரே
பயன்படுத்துகிறார். கழிபெரும் = மிகப் பெரிய (சால உறு தவ நனி கூர் கழி
மிகலே - பவணந்தி முனிவர் நன்னூல்).
உரைநடை அல்லது விரிவாக விளங்கிவரும் ஒன்றை, சுருக்கமாக
செய்யுள் நடையில் சொல்வது காரிகை. இங்கும் ஒன்றனுக்கு மேலே
அணியும் அணி அழகூட்டுவது என்றே பொருள். யாப்பருங்கலம் - இதன்
மீது சமணர் செய்தது யாப்பருங்கலக் காரிகை. நாகார்ஜுனர்
என்ற பௌத்த குரவர் மூலமத்யமகாரிகை.
கௌடபாதர் கௌடபாதகாரிகை, சாங்கியநூல் மேல் சாங்கியகாரிகை.
காரிகை என்னும் பெயரை ஹேமசந்திரர் வரையறுத்துள்ளார்.
கழிபெரும் = மிகப் பெரிய.
