This article describes how , in the period 1550-1750 AD, there was an
intellectual ferment in India, expressed chiefly in Sanskrit. The
Indian intellectuals of the period described themselves as Navya ,
that is New. The output of this intellectual movement was vast.
But with the establishment of the British colonialism, all this
traditional knowledge makers and intellectual movement quickly
disappeared. This is a part of a big project to collect the
intellectual output of this period

the field of logic, astronomy, astrology, medicine, poetics,
rhetorics, hermeneutics, grammer, prosody, geography, architecture
both sacred and secular and put them in a single site.
This will cover the collection of original manuscripts and printed
material as well as how this knowledge was produced, distributed and
discussed as well as biographical accounts of diferent intellectuals
