<BR>1. purANas talk about various stories where a
<BR>divine favored one clan to the other in blessing.
<BR>Also some deities are worshipped by a particular
<BR>clan or the other. A careful study of the glories
<BR>talked of Lord shiva in purANas it can be very much
<BR>observed that as the Supreme pati, God has always
<BR>given boons to all pashus irrespective of whether it
<BR>is deva or asura or nara etc. Also Lord shiva is 
<BR>worshipped, as indicated by the purANas, by all sects.
<BR>Of course the boon they get depends on what they ask
<BR>what is their righteousness, but boons are not denied 
<BR>because of any classification as such. Whoever 
<BR>worships with sincerity is certain to get the
<BR>blessings
