Britain has info on Netaji: Panel

Jalpaiguri (West Bengal), July 16: The British government will release some
more information about Subhas Chandra Bose only after 2021 if the Indian
government desires, Justice M K Mukherjee, heading the commission of inquiry
into Netaji's disappearance, said today.

Justice Mukherjee told reporters here that he was given this information by
the British government during his visit to London in connection with the
inquiry.

He said he has requested the Indian government to pursue the matter for
early release of the information.

Justice Mukherjee, who came here in connection with the inquiry, said seven
persons today deposed before him at the circuit house.

Of them, five were of the view that the 'Sadhu of Shoulmari' was Netaji, but
they could not provide any evidence. The remaining two opposed the view.

He said he would visit Japan in September to meet some people who worked
with Netaji. (Agencies)
