Dear Friends:
I am writing to you seeking your help for the new INFITT Ezine that
we are planning to release at the time of the TI2002 conference.
In one of the section of the proposed ezine, we would like to have
reviews of Tamil Softwares that are in use in different parts of the
world. In order that these reviews remain neutral and widely
accepted, we would like to have these reviews written by somone
independent (other than the author(s) or their vendors/sales agents).
Can I request the participants of this forum to come forward and
send us ca 1-page review of Tamil Softwares that they have used
in recent years, within the next two weeks?
The term "software" here is to be interpreted broadly to include
all application softwares (wordprocessing, database, email, ...),
multimedia tools for computer-aided teaching and even hardwares
(keyboard editors/drivers) etc. Contributions in the form of
overview articles in different areas of Tamil IT are also welcome.
Your assistance in this regard will be highly appreciated by all of us.
