You can find the Tamil keyboard mapping within eKalappai (within progran
files in C drive, if you have installed it there) as an HTML document called
Vicaipalakai.htm

Writing tamil is fairly easy with eKalappai (or Keyman) I find.
Just click the 'K' icon on the bottom right of the screen and select
TCIIANJAL.
Then compose a mail in Plain Text (Format-Plain Text).
Type as if it is a transliteration of what you want to say in Tamil. There
are certain letters that have special key, like z for L in Tamil. I am
attaching a map showing which English letters to use for tamil letters as a
screen print in a Word Document.
Tamil emails is the best fun I have had for some time!
