It is heartening and encouraging to read these words of yours.
Thank you for your appreciation.

I preferred 'JayBee' because of the brevity, air of informality
and the intimacy that goes with that acronym.

>Thank you very much for explaining some issues in which I perceived 'very
hard' to understand in a much much simple manner....

I did not simplify anything.
Oh no. Perish the thought.
All I did was, to introduce new angles, different perspectives,
and more vantage view-points.
It is you who have made things simple for yourself because
you saw all those different aspects of the same issues.

>and till today I did not know that Thirukural can be applied in the 'The
Malayan Campaign'.

Earlier to that, in 1987, the second paper that I read in
the International Tamil Conference in Kuala Lumpur, was
titled, 'idukkaN varunggaal nahuha'.
The nucleus of that paper was 'Stress' and its effects
and its management. ThirukkuRaL was applied to that paper's
theme. I used 80 kuRaL paa's for that paper.
Muuligai MaNi editor, Dr.Venkatesan was in that
session which was incidentally chaired by me. It was a
session on Tamil Medicine. He referred to my paper in the
next issue of the 'Muuligai MaNi'.

I always had a copy of ThirukkuRaL, Bhagavad Gita, and
the ThEvaaram hymns of Appar on my executive desk when I
was running that most difficult hospital.

One Mr.KaLLaperumaan has written a book on Management.
That book is totally based on ThirukkuRaL. We have talked about
that book twice in Agathiyar.

JayBee

I have ask my friend who is in the Divine Life Society to get me a copy of
"The Voice of Sankara". Hope this would be a good start for my knowledge
seeking pursuit.

managed to find the book 'An Introduction to a YOGI' and an online free
version of the book can be read at http://www.crystalclarity.com/yogananda/
. I have read Chapter 9: "The Blissful Devotee and His Cosmic Romance"
which illustrates a conversation between Paramahansa Yoganandha and Master
Mahasaya. I am eager to read front the start.
