Meaning:
One with the body as if of gold!
One Who has wound the skin of tiger to the waist!
One Who burnt the three earlier forts!
One staying at thirumuthukunRam!
Oh the Reverend, what have you done making
this expression of paravai of lightning like slim waist!
May my, the slave's, trouble diminish!
Notes:
1. cundharar got 12,000 gold coins at thirumuthukunRam.
He did not want to carry it all the way to thiruvArUr.
God ordered him to drop the gold in the river maNimuthhtARu
and pick out of the kamlAyalam tank! Without any questions
nambi dropped the coins in the river. When he went to
thiruvArUr, he took along paraviyAr, his loving wife,
and went to the kamalAlayam to collect the gold.
He could not get from the pond. paraviyAr started laughing,
"How can you get the gold that was dropped in the river
from the pond?" Well, that is a valid logic in the world,
but our saint has done it on the order of God.
He sang this padhikam asking the Lord at thirumuthukunRam
to help him in this difficulty. Right there appeared the
12,000 gold coins. The Lord Who made the miracle of
all these worlds, staged that miracle there.
